Largest online event in the field of youth work in Europe
Around 1000 participants from 50 countries, 100 contributors and experts, 70 facilitators and rapporteurs
The 3rd European Youth Work Convention took place from 7 to 10 December 2020.
The European Youth Work Conventions (EYWC) are a central platform for discussing the latest developments in youth work practice and youth policy in Europe. A Convention takes place every five years.
Professionals and multipliers from the youth work community of practice came together in 2020 for the third edition – this time to kick off the implementation of the European Youth Work Agenda under what is known as the Bonn Process.
Holding the 3rd EYWC in the digital space made it the largest online event to date ever held in the field of youth work in Europe – an experience unique to the convention series. The programme consisted of innovative and creative formats involving virtual exchanges and collaboration. It was an opportunity to showcase youth work as the courageous, forward-thinking and modern field that it is.
