JUGEND für Europa on behalf of the SNAC Growing Youth Work is looking for two freelancers for the content facilitation and communication of the SNAC Growing Youth Work for the period October 2024 to 31st December 2026. A prolongment for a full duration of four years until autumn 2028 is possible.
16 National Agencies and SALTO Youth Resource Centres are working together to grow and strengthen youth work across Europe. The "SNAC Growing Youth Work" project aims to elevate the importance of youth work, emphasizing its critical role in the lives of young people and democratic societies. The project contributes to putting the European Youth Work Agenda (EYWA) into action by offering support, encouraging coordinated and strategic efforts and creating opportunities for youth work professionals. Thus, Growing Youth Work develops a network to strengthen youth work across Europe together.
Lot 1: The content facilitator will support Growing Youth Work with the establishment and facilitation of a new event series titled “Youth Work Talks” encompassing residential conferences, webinars and debate sessions about pressing issues of youth work development. The content facilitator will also support the facilitation of internal project partners meetings, among other tasks. The average scope of the task will be up to a maximum of 2,5 days per month (based on the SALTO trainers fees).
Lot 2: The communication expert will support the project with the conceptualisation / reactivation and implementation of social media channels (especially Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn) on the topic of youth work development. Another work focus of the communication expert will be the documentation of major events of the SNAC. The average scope of the task will be up to a maximum of 3,5 days per month (based on the SALTO trainers fees).
Each bidder may only apply for one lot.
The target group of both freelancers’ tasks is the youth work community of practice incl. youth workers, trainers, political decision makers, researchers, staff of National Agencies and other youth work-related institutions and organisations.
